With this new feature, now gatekeepers can connect with the other gates’ keepers and also the members easily via app-to-app using the onegate app’s calling facility & the members can connect other members and gatekeepers using their member-focused oneapp.
With this functionality, onegate tried to bridge the gap of communication between all the members and other stakeholders of security management in society, who before this new feature were not directly connected under this gate management system. This new feature eliminates the need for collecting individual phone numbers of the members, gatekeepers, and society managers and blocks your phone memory. Now all you have to do is log on to oneapp and go to the visitor card, click intercom and connect to any unit within your society. The calls don’t use your present mobile connection but get connected via the third-party service provider Exotel in collaboration with onegate.
Using the third-party service has also enabled us to ensure the protection of your privacy by masking your mobile number. Any intercom call connected using oneapp or onegate app goes via a dedicated service providing number and nowhere the individual mobile numbers get reflected to anyone. HOW MEMBER CAN CONNECT GATE(S) VIA INTERCOM IN ONEAPP
- Go to oneapp.
- Click the Intercom button (call icon) in the ‘my visitor’ card.
- Go to the ‘Gate’ tab.
- Choose/Search the gate name or number that you want to call.
- Click the call button beside your chosen gate.
- Your call will be connected to the respective gatekeeper.
HOW MEMBER CAN CONNECT OTHER MEMBERS VIA INTERCOM IN ONEAPP
- Go to oneapp.
- Click the Intercom button (call icon) in the ‘my visitor’ card.
- Got to the ‘All Members’ tab.
- Choose/Search the member name or unit no. that you want to call.
- Click the call button beside your chosen member’s name.
- Your call will be connected to that member.
HOW GATEKEEPER CAN CONNECT A MEMBER VIA INTERCOM IN ONEGATE APP?
- Open the onegate app with Gatekeeper login.
- Click the INTERCOM button at the top right corner.
- Go to the Member tab.
- Select the building name where the member the gatekeeper is trying to connect resides.
- Choose/Search the member name or unit no. that the gatekeeper wants to call.
- Click the call button beside your chosen member’s name.
- The call will be connected to that member.
HOW GATEKEEPER CAN CONNECT OTHER GATES VIA INTERCOM IN ONEGATE APP?
- Open the onegate app with Gatekeeper login.
- Click the INTERCOM button at the top right corner.
- Go to the Gate tab.
- Choose/Search the gate by name that the gatekeeper wants to connect.
- Click the call button beside your chosen gate.
- The call will be connected to the gatekeeper of that gate.
